How it works
The container and canvas are marked with corresponding numbers.
Paint the container number (14) to the corresponding number (14) on the canvas.
Apply all the paint with the corresponding numbers on the canvas until complete
Once all the paint is applied, your painting will be complete.
- Choose a comfortable chair and surroundings, with plenty of space and light.
- A small container of water and a cloth is required to wash and dry paints between colours.
- Make sure your paintbrush is dry before dipping it into the paint pots.
- Start with the smallest areas, then work your way up to medium then large.
- Paint the whole of one colour first, don’t stop and start.
- Be sure to let the paint dry between colours to avoid any smudging
- There should be no gaps between colours.
- Take a picture of your blank canvas, it helps with small areas that can be painted over by mistake.

Multiple number 4 cells
Sadly I didn't notice till late that down on the right corner there is multiple number 4 cells all grouped together. On looking at the coloured picture that comes with the kit im assuming it was supposed to be number 7s in there instead. Sadly when I tried fixing it, I made it worst. Very disappointing. If you buy this please look out for the error
The 14 year old of the household chose this one to paint and she loved it! Some of the colours were slightly darker than the web pic, but it still ended up looking brilliant. This was excellent as a beginner painting as it had larger areas to paint rather than millions of tiny areas. 14YO is thrilled and moved on to the next one.
This was the first Paint Plot painting I did and is still my favorite! We got it with a bundle of other ones so that my wife, me, and one of our aunts and uncles could have a paint night together. We didn't come close to finishing these in one night, but I had so much fun and relaxation painting the dragon atop the wall. I continued taking some time here and there each night to paint a bit more and more, until finally, Trogdor was complete! Now he's framed and hanging on our living room wall. His success has led me to try other paint plot paintings now.
I thoroughly enjoyed painting this picture, however I got confused about the numbers. There were two 4s beside each other over the picture and it was obvious one of these colours weren’t meant to be a number 4. Luckily I picked up on this early on and was able to choose the right colour for the incorrect number. Apart from that, it was a fun, simple and beautiful painting :)
